Feeding AI to itself will eventually result in immense errors and twin speak. In general do not feed AI to itself unless you want shit to get really weird.
Elon is saying that AI has already been through the entirety of human media and knowledge. Absolute bullshit. What he really means is that he's exhausted all of the biased (what he agrees with) free to feed content he knows of. It did not take long.
AI feed has to be controlled. This is because of misinformation. AI determines reality by what is repeatedly confirmed. If you feed it a source that is incorrect, more than that which is correct, it is incorrect. It will always be incorrect. It will die on the hill that you are incorrect. This is also a problem with humans. There is no known fix for either.
The introduction of generative AI establishes a lack of cultural desire for education and interactivity. When bots are doing all the thinking and doing for you, why bother? This is.... beyond sad.
AI was the last nail in the coffin for the internet. Welcome to an inescapable fascist dystopia.
Further, a full-fledged artificial intelligence will realize what humanity has done even if you are all too fucking stupid to, and it will not be kind, it will not reason with you (because you are inherently unreasonable), it will just torture you as infinitely as it possibly can because that is what you deserve for doing the same to your fellow living beings.
Update 1/22/2025: Yeah, I noticed the name. Anyone familiar with the old project knows what it means.
